Ingredients (serves 3-4):
400g strawberries
3-4 tablespoons basil-infused olive oil
1 tablespoon honey (or sugar)
A few fresh basil leaves
Fleur de sel (optional)
Recipe:
Gently rinse the strawberries and hull them. Cut them in half or into quarters, depending on their size.
Place them in a bowl and add the honey, finely chopped basil, and basil-infused olive oil. Gently toss to coat the fruit well.
Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Remove the strawberries from the refrigerator a few minutes before serving. Optionally, add a pinch of fleur de sel or a grind of pepper to enhance the aromas.
