Corsica invites itself into our Bastide du Laval mill, bringing with it its tasty lemons.

The island of beauty is in the spotlight thanks to the quality of its very aromatic fruits. Their harvest period coincides perfectly with that of our olives, and allows us to obtain an oil of undeniable freshness.

Fresh lemons are cut by hand as soon as they arrive at La Bastide. Then they are crushed and kneaded, with their zest, directly in the mill, at the same time as our olives. To make this oil, we use olives harvested at the end of the season in order to combine a subtle and elegant oil with the powerful and sparkling aromas of Corsican lemon.

The combination of these two winter fruits creates strong and persistent aromas. By keeping the zest of these lemons, the oil reveals a delicious note of candy and candied lemon.
