High quality organic extra virgin olive oil.

Its characteristics :

This oil contains a lot of antioxidants which gives  a tickly feeling at the back of the throat which we call “l’ardence” , hence the name – Ardence

It has herby flavours of raw artichoke, freshly cut grass and tomato leaves.

Its originality :

The olives are pressed and the oil is extracted straightaway at room temperature. The olive paste is neither heated nor mixed.

  • Its advantages: by doing so we keep the integrity of the phenols, polyphenols and antioxidants as well as all the aromas contained in the fruit.
  • Its Disadvantages: we need twice the amount of olives i to produce one litre of olive oil, this is why the price is slightly higher than the other types of olive oils.
  • Olives come exclusively from our estate and this olive oil has an organic agriculture and AOC Provence certification.

Tasting :

  •  Smelling the oil : herby aromas, green fruits
  •  Tasting : raw artichoke, tomato leaves, green bananas

What to eat it with ?

With carbs, pasta, rice, potatoes, mash potatoes, soups, raw or cooked vegetables, fish just out of the oven or with fresh cheeses (goat, sheep or cow's).

This oil is a finishing touch when seasoning and dressing food. There will be more of an aroma when mixed with hot dishes.
